Idea Vodafone Merger - Will Become India's Largest Telecom Operator

Idea Vodafone Merger : Have you ever thought that idea and Vodafone could ever join hands together and become India's one largest telecom operator. After Reliance JIO its free and cheapest 4g data plans, other telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea were facing a big loss in market share. And to stay in the Telecom Sector game Idea and Vodafone planed to join hands together, In the hope that they will bring something batter to there customers.

The uniting of the two of the India's major telecom giants, will get together to fight a brutal telecom war with Reliance JIO. With the 35% of the total market share, Vodafone-idea' the combined group will be the country’s largest telecom corporation.

 

In this merger after transferring a stake of 4.9% to the Idea promoters for Rs.3,900 crore. Vodafone will own the 45.1% of the joint venture, while idea hold 26% of the share. While the rest of the approx 24% will be in the hands of public shareholders.
