6. After opening your Wi-Fi router’s settings page in your browser, type the current username and password of your router to login.

7. Default Username of router is “admin“, but if you forgot your Username and Password, you can reset if by Holding reset button of your router for 30 seconds.
8. After logging in into your router settings, look up at Wireless Option.
9. Now click on Name/SSID/ID option.
10. You can change your Username from here.

11. Now, go to Security options >> Password/PSK >> Connection Type.

Anbox: Android Emulator For Linux, Run Android Apps In Linux

Anbox is a new software which totally converts your PC system and gives it an Android environment.

“Anbox puts the Android operating system into a container, abstracts hardware access and integrates core system services in a GNU Linux system. Every Android application will behave integrated into your operating system like any other native application,” the projects says on its official website.

“To achieve our goal, we use standard Linux technologies like containers (LXC) to separate the Android operating system from the host. The Android version doesn’t matter for this approach and we try to keep up with the latest available version of the Android Open Source project.”

Ever wanted to run android applications and games on your PC. Many developers have already been offering emulators like BlueStacks and Genymotion that lets you run Android Applications On Windows. These applications, build a virtual machine that emulates the Android shell in an isolated environment and separates it from the rest of the host operating system. These types of emulators never work according to us and you'll never be satisfied with how they work completely different than the real Android system.

Although Android is actually based on the Linux kernel, same as GNU/Linux operating systems, it was never been easier to run a full Android System on a PC without setting up a virtual machine or via a dual boot setup. Thankfully, Anbox is here to save us.

Anbox is a new open source project that lets you run Android apps on a PC natively as if they were a part of your operating system same as other desktop applications. Anbox, aka “Android in a Box”, is an open source project that allows you to run Android apps on your Linux desktop without any need of virtual machines or dual boot setups. Anbox place the Android OS into a Linux container (LXC) which allows it to share the Linux kernel, but also isolate the host from the Android OS. And because of that Anbox doesn’t allow any direct hardware access.
In a blog post Anbox's developer, Simon Fels writes.

“Anbox itself is still in its early phase and is in a pre-alpha state where crashes and instability is expected. The next phase of development will focus on stability and bug fixing and will add more necessary features to integrate better with the host operating system,”

When you install Anbox for the first time, you’ll get a few stock Android apps preinstalled such as Calculator, Contacts, email, Gallery, and Files apps. And to install more Android apps, You will have set up ad from the terminal. Anbox does not come with the Play Store preinstalled, so if you want an app store, you can install the Google Play Store or a different app store via adb.

Installing Anbox on a regular Linux system isn't hard when you already have the ability to install snaps. If your system doesn't support snaps, then there is no easy way for you to install Anbox. This might change, though in the near future. Installing Anbox is pretty easy as it comes with an installer which installs all necessary files automatically. Xiaomi's Next MIUI Update Will Have New Split Screen and Picture-in-Picture Features

With the Xiaomi's announcement of upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6, rumors are already been in the air. Xiaomi would be unveiling the Mi 6 on 19 April 2017. But this is not the only exciting announcement they've made. Xiaomi is also planning for a big update to its homebrewed version Of Android, MIUI in the near future. The big update would bring two highly-anticipated features Of Android - O to the MIUI ROM's. Both of these features are focused on multi-tasking and probably is going to be included in the Google's official Android O release.

MIUI 9 - Split Screen Feature

Google have already introduced Android's Split Screen feature in Android 7 - Nougat which was first seen on Android 6 - Marshmallow in its beta stage. The Split Screen feature lets you use two different applications on the screen side by side simultaneously. OEMs like LG and Samsung had this feature in their version of Android for quite a while. Google have recently added this feature into the Vanilla(pure) version of Android and still trying to improve it.

And with following others Xiaomi is also going to add the Split Screen Feature in the next big MIUI update which would be MIUI 9. The screenshots shows the Split Screen feature on MIUI looks exactly like the Stock version of Android, So we are assuming that they are likely utilizing the same Google's Stock Android's code for this feature.

MIUI 9 - Picture-in-Picture Feature

The second new feature that Xiaomi announced is the new Picture-in-Picture mode. Which is also a Googles own feature which is likely to debut Google's Next Android Update Android - O. The Picture-in-Picture mode will allow you to shrink an application (like video players) to a small size window and then you'll be able to drag it around on the screen. If you are an old Android User them you might know this feature by the name of Floating Window (Which was the Paranoid Android's exclusive Feature), The Picture-in-Picture mode is quite similar to that. Google recently introduced a Picture-in-Picture mode in Android - O version for the Smart Televisions. It is yet not clear that if Xiaomi will use the same code as Google for the Picture-in-Picture mode or a modified version of it.

Xiaomi has not revealed that exactly in which next MIUI update these two features will be included in, but they did mention that it would be a major MIUI update. Although same as the Google's stock Android, the features will not support all applications and app developers will need to make changes is their applications code and make it compatible with the features in order for the features to work on Stock Android including all other devices running stock or modified versions of Android. The case is same with other OEM's like Samsung’s - Touchwiz, LG’s - LG UI, HTC's - Sense UI and so on.
